Many fans await it's release for either the following reasons:
~ Jill Valentine's assumed death (there's something fishy)
~ more outdoor game setting - players get to explore the place more
~ more twists and new characters - one is sheva, another is the girl in the raven mask, and also the girl in the glass tube
~ Chris Redfeild
~ new zombie species - zombies now evolved and can now hold and use melee weapons
RE fans know Jill since the beginning of the RE franchise. She was a former member of the delta team and now a member of the alpha team. She is known to be good at picking locks and having the capacity to hold more things. That was her specialty in the first game. She was one of the main characters then. Players find Jill luxurious in playing the game. Her mode is much easier compared to Chris'. We watched her character grow in the game. She discovered that the mansion was actually a front for a top-secret research facility owned by the Umbrella Corporation. She also came to find that Wesker was a double agent working for Umbrella and had planned the whole operation as an experiment to test out Umbrella's t-virus B.O.W.s and to destroy the S.T.A.R.S. team. Along with fellow survivors, she escaped the mansion.
Jill returned as the sole protagonist of the third game, RE: Nemesis. Jill decided to stay in Raccoon City to find the whereabouts of Umbrella. However, Raccoon City became infected by the virus. Jill met a former member of the U.B.C.S., Carlos Oliveira. Jill was infected by the virus, but was cured by the help of Carlos. She eventually managed to kill NEMESIS single-handedly. She escaped Raccoon City with Carlos before the city exploded.
Jill returned to be the most playable character in the Nintendo Wii game, Umbrella Chronicles. She was in three of the four scenarios. One event was added to her game story. She and Chris went to Russia to destroy T-A-L-O-S project and succeeded.
Today, many fans were shocked and confused on what is happening to her character. In one of the trailers of the upcoming game, RE5, her tombstone was shown in the end. It seems that Jill died. It isn't really known yet what caused her death.
Fans concluded into theories about Jill. One is that they say that Jill is really dead and it was made for Chris to take revenge in the next game. Another is that Jill maybe is in hiding or in disguise. Another is that they say Jill is the girl seen to be in a huge glass tube in one of the early trailers of the game. They also say that Jill was the girl in the raven mask. Some people say that in the game, you will have to battle Jill twice, leading to their conclusion that Jill is becoming like Alice, the RE movie heroine, and has powers now.
I'm a big fan of Jill Valentine and I am really confused. Is it just a teaser or did they really killed Jill off? If they killed her off, that would be a mistake i guess. Why in the world would they kill of a main character? Well, I think I would just wait for the game's release.
Positive:
I love the way they did the game play of this game. In this game, you get to Eavesdrop, Pickpocket, and Interrogate people. Well that's just the way assassins do it right? They do this stuff to get information about their target. The next thing I like about this game is when you save an innocent citizen, they'll pay you back. When I say paying you back, I mean they do stuff to block the guards chasing you or to give you people to blend on which is really helpful in this game. When guards start to chase you, you have three choices. It's either you kill all of them, you blend on the scholars or you pass the vigilantes to block the guards and find a hiding spot. I also like the action of this game. It's not that boring and it's not that gory either. It's just simply great. Your character can do great counter attacks on your opponent. You can get great tactics on fighting guards to. Either killing them off by doing counter attacks or you just push them off a cliff (haha). I kinda laugh every time I kill all guards by just pushing them off an edge. It's just so funny! I also like the story lines of all the targets in this game. They all have different character backgrounds.
Negative:
What I don't like in this game is that it just gets repetitive once you go on the game. You just synchronize on tall buildings, save citizens, do some investigations and then kill the target. You'll get bored once you advance through the game. But if you like killing people in games, well this is the game for you!
A new Version for Pokemon DP will be released soon on DS. The new version includes new features such as new characters, new outfits for the main characters, new graphics, Giratina is now the main legendary pokemon, Palkia and Dialga can be obtained, I'm not yet sure if Shaymin will be obtained without the use of events also Darkrai. In this version, you will chase Giratina into the Torn World.
